KEEP YOUR EARS TO THE STREETS!!! Yesterday (12-2-10) was our good friend Joe Ablan's birthday...who is now the big 23, respek!...and what better way to celebrate than to go climbing. Pierre Poquette and the birthday boy went to Lincoln Lake (that's right I said Lincoln Lake not Lake Lincoln because that is what the official sign says when entering the parking lot) to climb some classics. Pierre was able to send Straight Out of Dubville v7, Auto-Cannibalism v6, and Eat This v7. Even with Pierre satching up a total of 20 points the employee of the day went to Mr. Ablan. Joe, who has probably only been climbing a handful of times in the past 6 months, was able to send Straight Out of Dubville v7.
So congrats to Joe Ablan for his nice day of rock climbing and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Below is a video of the action packed day. Enjoy!
I like your mini-rant about the what the proper name of the Lake is. Maybe not necessary but funny none the less.
